Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers for regional routes within North Carolina and surrounding states
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using electronic logging devices
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization and timely deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Implement secure cargo handling procedures for high-value shipments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer experience with verifiable references
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Familiarity with Hazmat regulations (Hazmat certification preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Charlotte metro area transportation routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
