Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles safely and efficiently across designated routes
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure secure handling and timely delivery of high-value cargo
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Utilize GPS systems for route optimization and real-time communication
- Document delivery confirmations and maintain shipment documentation
- Collaborate with dispatch team for proactive route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 3 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices and fleet management software
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Preferred: Hazmat endorsement and prior experience in high-value freight
