Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods on designated routes throughout Southern California
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques to prevent damage
- Manage delivery documentation and maintain real-time communication with dispatch
- Provide exceptional customer service during client interactions
- Optimize route efficiency to meet delivery timelines
- Report mechanical issues and coordinate vehicle maintenance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of California traffic laws and route planning
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
