Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver products on scheduled routes
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo efficiently with proper handling techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Adapt routes for weather conditions and traffic while maintaining on-time performance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Strong navigation skills with GPS technology proficiency
- Physical ability to handle loading/unloading duties (up to 50 lbs)
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
