Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver goods on designated routes within Santa Ana and surrounding areas
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Manage delivery documentation, including bills of lading and proof of delivery
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company policies
- Optimize route efficiency while maintaining punctual delivery schedules
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading and delivery interactions
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team regarding route status and delays
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Knowledge of California traffic laws and route navigation
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional overtime
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD) preferred
