Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport freight across designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while adhering to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Build strong relationships with clients through professional communication and service excellence
- Optimize route efficiency to meet delivery schedules and minimize fuel consumption
- Document delivery receipts and handle discrepancies with precision
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments and support
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices (ELD) and GPS navigation
- Strong commitment to safety compliance and defensive driving practices
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
