Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for multi-stop delivery routes throughout San Jose and Bay Area
- Execute efficient route planning while adhering to DOT regulations and delivery schedules
- Maintain meticulous vehicle inspection logs and ensure optimal fleet maintenance
- Handle specialized freight requiring temperature control and secure transport protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service through professional communication and on-time deliveries
- Utilize electronic logging systems and GPS technology for real-time tracking
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve route disruptions and optimize delivery efficiency
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Current DOT medical certification and ability to pass pre-employment screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Strong knowledge of San Jose/Bay Area roadways and delivery regulations
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading/unloading equipment
