Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A CDL) safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle readiness and safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all necessary delivery paperwork.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper handling and protection of goods.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and route changes.
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times.
- Participate in ongoing safety training and company meetings.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A.
- Clean driving record (no more than 1 DUI in the last 7 years).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience.
- U.S. Citizenship or valid work authorization.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
