Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently on assigned routes within the Los Angeles area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Load and unload cargo accurately using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation (DVIR, Hours of Service) in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients and dispatchers.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL License required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work weekends and holidays as required.
