Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently to ensure timely delivery of freight.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to comply with DOT regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required paperwork.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to weight limits and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers to resolve any delivery issues.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT medical card.
- Clean driving record with no serious traffic violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
