Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently across assigned routes (Charlotte, NC & Illinois).
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper documentation is completed.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and potential delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must have a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of US DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Willingness to travel to Illinois routes as needed.
