Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks and trailers on designated routes.
- Load and unload freight safely, ensuring cargo security.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Complete electronic logging device (ELD) entries accurately and on time.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients.
- Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle interior and exterior.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- No prior driving experience is required for this entry-level position (training provided).
- Clean driving record (MVR) and ability to pass a drug screen and physical.
- Ability to read, write, and understand English for safety compliance.
- Basic math skills for making change and verifying cargo weight.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- Reliable personal transportation to and from work.
