Responsibilities
- Operate commercial motor vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all Federal and State DOT regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck and cargo are in optimal condition.
- Load and unload freight accurately and securely, maintaining cargo integrity throughout the journey.
- Maintain accurate logbooks and electronic logging devices (ELD) as required by law.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding route changes, delays, or emergencies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Willingness to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong commitment to safety and time management.
