Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload freight efficiently, ensuring cargo security and integrity.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report any mechanical issues.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery logs.
- Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules, routes, and any potential delays.
- Adhere to strict safety standards to ensure the safety of passengers, cargo, and other road users.
- Keep the cab and truck clean and well-maintained.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) on file.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.
