Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently on regional and local routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure 100% DOT compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring the integrity and safety of all shipments.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records and adhere to all hours-of-service regulations.
- Adhere strictly to traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any operational updates.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience (long-haul or regional preferred).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
