Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles on local and regional delivery routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, ensuring proper securing of freight for transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all required delivery paperwork.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients and businesses at delivery points.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Current Department of Transportation (DOT) Medical Card.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of local Charlotte and regional North Carolina roads.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual tasks.
