Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A delivery trucks in all weather conditions.
- Perform detailed pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo using proper forklifts and hand trucks.
- Manage delivery paperwork and electronic logging devices (ELD) accurately.
- Interact professionally with clients and ensure cargo security.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to DOT regulations.
- Report mechanical issues and maintenance needs promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license required.
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience preferred (Entry level welcome with clean record).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and paperwork.
