Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial delivery trucks (Class A) to transport goods to local and regional destinations in Georgia.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.
- Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently, ensuring proper securing of freight.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging devices (ELD) and delivery documentation (bills of lading).
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients and retail partners.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company driving policies.
- Report any vehicle maintenance issues or road hazards immediately.
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred, but entry-level candidates with strong attitude are encouraged to apply.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug screen and background check.
- Strong understanding of Georgia traffic laws and roadways.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and performing manual labor duties.
- Must have a reliable smartphone for logging and communication.
