Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers in compliance with all FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Load and secure cargo accurately to prevent damage during transit.
- Complete daily logs (DVIR), delivery paperwork, and inspections in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean driving record and demonstrate defensive driving techniques at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and delivery updates.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a commercial truck.
- Current DOT medical card and DOT physical.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
