Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers on regional routes
- Inspect and maintain vehicle compliance with DOT regulations
- Plan efficient delivery routes while meeting tight deadlines
- Document all cargo handling and delivery paperwork accurately
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and HOS regulations
- Assist with loading/unloading as needed at client facilities
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug and physical screenings
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Basic navigation skills with GPS technology
- Physical ability to climb, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Reliable transportation to/from terminal locations
