Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks in a safe and efficient manner over designated routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload freight accurately and securely, ensuring cargo integrity.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and adhere to all DOT and FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, shippers, and receivers regarding delivery schedules.
- Practice defensive driving techniques to ensure passenger and cargo safety.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) required.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience preferred.
- Current DOT Medical Card and Medical Examiner's Certificate.
- Clear Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
