Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks to deliver freight to designated locations on time and in perfect condition.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT and company safety standards.
- Maintain accurate Electronic Logging Device (ELD) records and all required delivery paperwork.
- Secure cargo using straps, chains, and binders, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regional driving regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL A) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Card (Medical Examiner's Certificate).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
