Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class 8 tractor-trailers on long-haul routes across Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance reports accurately
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and delivery timelines
- Load/unload cargo with precision using provided equipment and team support
- Maintain electronic logging systems (ELD) and required documentation
- Represent the company professionally with exceptional customer service
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Southwest regional terrain and weather conditions
- Proficient in ELD systems and route navigation technology
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
- Flexibility for overnight trips and irregular schedules
