Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks and trailers safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, ensuring weight distribution is correct.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to all DOT and FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered.
- Keep the truck cab and trailer clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) in possession.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Eligible to work in the United States.
- Willingness to undergo a drug screen and background check.
- Good communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
