Job Overview
We are looking for experienced drivers to operate our commercial trucks. You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of goods to our customers across Northern California.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) to deliver freight to designated locations in a safe and timely manner.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing freight according to safety regulations.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies at all times.
- Maintain accurate logbooks (ELD) and delivery paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or delivery issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of Northern California routes and geography.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging and paperwork.
