Responsibilities
- Safely operate 24' box truck for regional freight delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance
- Optimize delivery routes for efficiency and on-time performance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Manage load securement and cargo handling protocols
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Reliable personal vehicle for pre-trip inspections
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs
- Strong time management and route planning skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Smartphone with reliable data coverage
- Proof of commercial liability insurance ($1M minimum)
