Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional freight delivery in Dallas metro area
- Manage route optimization and timely deliveries using provided logistics software
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs (ELD)
- Coordinate with dispatch team for load assignments and schedule adjustments
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Build client relationships through professional service and reliability
- Submit weekly invoices and expense reports through our digital portal
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience
- Reliable personal box truck (24-26ft) with proper insurance coverage
- Smartphone proficiency for logistics apps and communication
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs and work flexible hours/weekends
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside troubleshooting
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Dallas metro area residency required for local delivery routes
