Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain your box truck for local and regional deliveries
- Manage pickup and drop-off schedules while ensuring timely deliveries
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Coordinate with warehouse teams for efficient loading/unloading procedures
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and mileage records
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or willingness to obtain
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Basic mechanical knowledge for preventive truck maintenance
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Reliable smartphone with GPS and data capabilities
- Self-motivated with entrepreneurial mindset
- Must have own box truck (financing assistance available)
