Responsibilities
- Execute efficient last-mile and regional freight deliveries across Louisiana Gulf Coast
- Maintain DOT compliance with daily inspections and documentation
- Optimize routes using GPS tracking to maximize delivery windows
- Coordinate with warehouse teams for seamless loading/unloading protocols
- Manage inventory reconciliation for high-value cargo shipments
- Provide exceptional customer service through real-time delivery updates
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and report mechanical issues
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with air brake endorsement
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in 3 years
- Proof of commercial auto insurance ($1M liability)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly for loading/unloading
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Familiarity with New Orleans traffic patterns and delivery zones
