Responsibilities
- Secure, load, and transport cargo safely and efficiently to designated drop-off points in Minneapolis and surrounding areas.
- Ensure cargo is properly secured and protected against damage during transit.
- Complete all necessary delivery paperwork, including Bills of Lading and Proof of Delivery (POD).
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical condition of the truck.
- Adhere to all local traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Interact professionally with customers and dispatch personnel at every stop.
Qualifications
- Must own a 26' Box Truck (or larger) in good mechanical condition.
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements.
- Current DOT Medical Card and a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable box truck or straight truck driving experience.
- Strong customer service orientation and professional communication skills.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform manual loading/unloading duties.
