Responsibilities
- Safe and timely delivery of goods using your own box truck throughout Jersey City and tri-state area
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and maintain electronic logs per FMCSA regulations
- Manage pre/post-trip inspections and coordinate preventative maintenance schedules
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet tight delivery windows
- Build positive client relationships through professional communication and problem-solving
- Utilize our proprietary dispatch system for real-time load tracking and updates
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and company compliance standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable box truck driving experience
- Proof of commercial auto insurance ($1M liability coverage minimum)
- Reliable late-model box truck (2015 or newer) in good mechanical condition
- Proficient in using GPS navigation and electronic logging devices
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment safely
- Willingness to undergo mandatory background check and drug screening
