Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional deliveries (40-60ft trailers)
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Optimize routes for timely deliveries using GPS technology
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time load adjustments
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- DOT medical certification current
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs repeatedly
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
- Smartphone proficiency for dispatch apps
- Reliable personal vehicle for travel to depot
- Commercial insurance proof (liability $1M+)
