Responsibilities
- Transport freight using a 24-26ft box truck with liftgate
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Manage multiple deliveries efficiently within assigned routes
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (MVR)
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- DOT medical certification current
- Reliable 24-26ft box truck (2008 or newer preferred)
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs
- Strong time management and navigation skills
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs occasionally
- Commercial insurance coverage ($1M liability minimum)
