Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local and regional freight delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to safety protocols
- Manage customer communications and delivery confirmations
- Optimize routes for maximum efficiency and fuel savings
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Reliable box truck (24-26ft) in good working condition
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor repairs
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
- Proof of commercial auto insurance
