Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided box trucks for regional freight delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
- Ensure cargo security and proper handling during transit
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Build strong client relationships through professional service
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or heavy equipment experience
- Clean driving record and satisfactory background check
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and route planning skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge for preventative maintenance
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Must have own DOT medical certificate
