Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages, food, or retail items to customers throughout Durham County
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures when required
- Perform pre-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Optimize delivery routes to maximize efficiency and meet time commitments
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Assist with loading/unloading procedures and inventory management
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year professional delivery or driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for extended periods
- Strong knowledge of Durham area roads and navigation skills
- Reliable smartphone with GPS capability
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Background check and drug screening required
- Must be 21+ years old for insurance compliance
