Responsibilities
- Safely transport goods to designated locations within North Carolina and surrounding states
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and ensure preventative maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Manage loading/unloading procedures with proper equipment handling
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Reliable box truck (26+ ft) or willingness to lease from our program
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety compliance
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Basic mechanical aptitude for minor troubleshooting
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Smartphone with reliable internet access for communication
