Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional freight delivery within Austin metro area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch teams for efficient route optimization
- Ensure timely delivery while maintaining exceptional customer service
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage load securement and cargo handling procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years preferred)
- Proof of commercial vehicle insurance ($1M liability minimum)
- Reliable box truck (26ft max) in good working condition
- Strong knowledge of Austin metro area and surrounding regions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills for on-road repairs
