Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for local/regional deliveries in Atlanta metro area
- Maintain accurate trip logs, vehicle inspections, and compliance documentation
- Optimize routes for on-time delivery while adhering to DOT regulations
- Manage cargo loading/unloading with proper handling techniques
- Coordinate with dispatch team for real-time schedule adjustments
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and report issues promptly
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or B license with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience in Atlanta/Georgia
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate manual transmission
- Basic mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting
- Strong familiarity with Atlanta metro and Southeast routes
- Commercial liability insurance ($1M minimum)
