Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks safely and efficiently throughout the Mid-Atlantic region
- Manage loading/unloading of freight with proper handling protocols
- Maintain accurate trip logs and delivery documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for optimal route planning
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance
- Ensure timely deliveries while maintaining exceptional customer service
- Comply with all DOT regulations and safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Proven safety record with no major violations in 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor troubleshooting
- Smartphone and reliable communication device
- Active DOT medical certification
- Business liability insurance ($1M minimum)
