Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks for regional freight delivery within Georgia and surrounding states
- Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle maintenance records
- Coordinate with dispatch team for optimal route planning and load assignments
- Ensure secure handling and documentation of all shipments
- Manage timely delivery confirmations and customer communications
- Adhere to DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
Qualifications
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean MVR
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Proof of commercial liability and cargo insurance ($1M minimum)
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor roadside repairs
- Smartphone with reliable data for real-time communication
- Drug-free certification and willingness to pass random screenings
