Responsibilities
- Safe and timely delivery of freight using your box truck within Milwaukee and surrounding regions
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for all shipments
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure vehicle compliance with DOT regulations
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization and scheduling
- Build strong client relationships through professional communication and service excellence
- Manage loading/unloading operations at customer sites when required
- Report maintenance needs promptly to minimize downtime
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience with box trucks
- Proof of commercial auto insurance and USDOT registration
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment safely
- Familiarity with Milwaukee-area roadways and traffic patterns
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Reliable smartphone with GPS and communication capabilities
- Willingness to pass background check and drug screening
