Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (24-26 ft) for local/regional freight delivery
- Manage pre/post-trip inspections and maintenance documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch team for efficient route planning
- Ensure timely delivery of goods while maintaining quality standards
- Build relationships with clients for repeat business opportunities
- Submit accurate delivery logs and paperwork weekly
- Maintain clean driving record and compliance with DOT regulations
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck operation experience
- Proven ability to manage time and meet delivery deadlines
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside troubleshooting
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Reliable personal vehicle for non-commercial use
- DOT medical certification current
