Responsibilities
- Operate box trucks safely and efficiently for regional freight delivery
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch for optimal route planning
- Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards
- Build strong client relationships through professional service
- Manage backhaul opportunities to maximize revenue
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years box truck experience
- Reliable box truck (2015 or newer preferred)
- Proof of commercial liability insurance ($1M minimum)
- Ability to pass TSA background clearance
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Basic understanding of logistics software
- Entrepreneurial mindset with business acumen
