Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain your own box truck (26ft-53ft) safely and efficiently
- Complete on-time local/regional deliveries within the Philadelphia metro area
- Manage pre/post-trip inspections and ensure DOT compliance
- Optimize routes for fuel efficiency and delivery accuracy
- Communicate with dispatch via mobile app for real-time updates
- Handle freight documentation and proof of delivery
- Uphold professional customer service standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Own or lease a well-maintained box truck (2015+ model preferred)
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia/NJ/DE area roadways
- DOT medical certification and required documentation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Commercial auto insurance ($1M liability minimum)
- Smartphone with reliable internet access
