Responsibilities
- Safely operate box truck for regional freight deliveries in Arizona and surrounding states
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and required documentation (BOLs, IFTA reports)
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient routing and on-time deliveries
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Manage freight loading/unloading with proper securing techniques
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years box truck or straight truck experience
- Proof of commercial liability insurance ($1M minimum)
- Reliable box truck (2008+ model, 24-26ft preferred)
- Smartphone with reliable data for dispatch communication
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of Arizona routing and mountain driving experience
