Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks (26-28ft) for local/regional freight deliveries
- Coordinate loading/unloading operations at client sites
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and mileage logs
- Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and basic maintenance
- Optimize routes for timely delivery using provided GPS tools
- Communicate proactively with dispatch and clients
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class B CDL with clean MVR (3+ years driving experience)
- Reliable box truck (2010+ model, under 300k miles)
- Proof of commercial insurance ($1M liability)
- Smartphone with data plan for dispatch app
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside assistance
- Pass background check and drug screening
