Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Load/unload packages efficiently while maintaining delivery route schedules
- Provide exceptional customer service during package deliveries and pickups
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
- Use handheld scanning devices to track and confirm deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery records and resolve delivery exceptions
- Adhere to all traffic laws and Amazon safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (Class A or B) or ability to obtain one
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to lift packages up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Basic smartphone proficiency for navigation and communication
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Pass background check and drug screening
