Responsibilities
- Safely Deliver Packages: Drive a delivery van to transport packages to customers' doorsteps in a timely and safe manner.
- Customer Service: Provide friendly, professional, and efficient service to every customer you encounter.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the van is clean, fueled, and in safe working condition.
- Package Handling: Load, unload, and organize packages efficiently to optimize delivery routes.
- Proof of Delivery: Accurately log all deliveries and exceptions using handheld scanners.
- Route Planning: Follow assigned delivery routes efficiently to meet time targets.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license issued by the state you live in with a satisfactory driving record.
- Driving Experience: Previous driving experience is preferred but not always required (training provided).
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for long periods.
- Communication Skills: Strong English communication skills (verbal and written) are required.
- Technology Proficiency: Comfortable using handheld scanning devices and navigating GPS systems.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work in various weather conditions.
