Responsibilities
- Drive an Amazon-branded vehicle to deliver packages to customers in a safe and timely manner.
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure a professional image at every delivery stop.
- Load and unload packages from the vehicle efficiently, ensuring all items are secure.
- Handle package paperwork, scanning, and inventory checks accurately.
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain cleanliness.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with the DSP operations team regarding route changes or issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record (no major violations in the past 3-5 years).
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds repeatedly and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Must have a smartphone (Android or iPhone) compatible with the Amazon delivery application.
- Basic English reading and writing skills for navigation and safety instructions.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Residence within a reasonable commuting distance of the Lexington hub.
